How is 24ERA ETP different from a classifieds board?

A classified ad is just a price. On 24ERA ETP a lot can be sold in six ways — ascending, descending, sealed-bid or Scandinavian auction, request for quotations or proposals — or listed at a fixed price as a commission sale. A protocol is issued on completion.

Do I need to register to view lots?

No. The catalogue and lot pages are open to all. Registration is needed to bid, apply or list a lot.

How much does listing a lot cost?

Listing is free. The operator fee is charged upon sale.

Auction types on 24ERA ETP

An ordinary classifieds board only does fixed prices. Here a lot can be sold six different ways, or, if no auction is needed, list it as a consignment sale. Every procedure ends with a protocol. Auctions run around the clock.

Classic open auction: participants raise the price and the highest bid wins. All bids are visible in real time and the result is recorded in a protocol.
